On April 22, 2026, an Agreement on Cooperation and Partnership was signed between the Institute of Telecommunications and Global Information Space of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and InterIntel (Slovenia).
On behalf of the Institute, the Agreement was signed by Director, Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Oleksandr Trofymchuk. On behalf of InterIntel, it was signed by Director, Doctor of Sciences Andrii Pavlyshyn.
The Agreement provides for the development of international cooperation in the fields of science, education, and innovation, including the implementation of joint research projects, preparation of international grant applications (Erasmus+, Horizon Europe), development of educational programs and courses, as well as the organization of academic internships and exchange of experience.
During the signing ceremony, the cooperation coordinators delivered remarks: from the Institute — Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Vasyl Trysniuk; from InterIntel — Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Serhii Lupenko. They outlined key areas of future collaboration, including the development of information technologies, geographic information systems, remote sensing of the Earth, and their application in environmental monitoring.
The signing of the Agreement is an important step in expanding the Institute’s international scientific cooperation and creates the groundwork for implementing modern information technologies in environmental safety research, digital data analysis, and the development of innovative educational initiatives.
