Winner of the State Prize of Ukraine in Education for his research paper “Taras Shevchenko Scientific and Educational Internet Portal” (2017).
In 2008, he was recognized as the best IT director of Ukraine, in 2003 he was awarded the “Acknowledgment of the President of Ukraine”, an expert of the NATO C4I Working Group on Control, Communications and Computerization Systems.
Author of more than 200 scientific and educational works, including 15 monographs and 4 textbooks.
Main areas of research: computer science, information and communication technologies, automated control systems, geographic information systems, information and analytical systems, remote sensing.
