He was awarded the Certificates of Honor of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (2005), the V.S. Mykhalevych Prize of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (2015), the Medal “For Sacrifice and Love for Ukraine” (2015), the Order of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (2016) and the Order of Merit, III degree (2020).
He is the author of more than 530 publications, including 32 monographs and 2 textbooks.
Main areas of research: mathematical modeling, computer science, mechanics; in particular, dynamics of soils and structures; GIS/remote sensing technologies; environmental safety.
