On May 12, 2026, Institute of Telecommunications and Global Information Space of the NAS of Ukraine and LIRA UA LLC signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at advancing predictive and analytical research of critical technologies for the needs of Ukraine’s security and defense sector.
The Memorandum was signed by the Director of the Institute, Oleksandr Trofymchuk, and the Director of LIRA UA LLC, Denys Revatskyi.
The document provides for the integration of the scientific, engineering, and analytical capacities of both parties in the development, testing, and improvement of modern technical, informational, and analytical solutions. The cooperation will primarily focus on joint research activities, development of predictive models, advancement of innovative technologies, and implementation of practical solutions for the security and defense sector.
Within the framework of the cooperation, the Institute will provide a scientific research base, expert and analytical support, involvement of specialists and researchers in the assessment of promising technological solutions, and participation in the preparation of analytical materials and roadmaps for the development of critical technologies.
LIRA UA LLC will provide engineering, design, and technical support, develop experimental models and prototypes, conduct technical validation of solutions, and facilitate the development of industrial and technological cooperation.
The cooperation coordinator from the Institute has been appointed as Vasyl Trysniuk, Head of the Department of Environmental Research, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor.
The signing of the Memorandum marks an important step toward strengthening cooperation between science and the innovation sector in order to develop modern information technologies, enhance Ukraine’s scientific and technological potential, and support national security under current challenges.
