On May 14–15, 2026, an exhibition and presentation of research and developments of institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine dedicated to Science Day in Ukraine took place in Kyiv.
Institute of Telecommunications and Global Information Space of the NAS of Ukraine presented a predictive and analytical study of priority areas for the development of critical technologies aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities and innovation resilience under conditions of hybrid warfare. The Institute also showcased an express monitoring system for hazardous environmental changes within the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant – Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant natural-technogenic geosystem.
In addition to scientific and technical developments, the exhibition featured the Institute’s published books, monographs, and collections of scientific papers.
The event was attended by the Director of the Institute, Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Oleksandr Trofymchuk; Head of the Department of Environmental Research, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Vasyl Trysniuk; as well as Institute researchers Roman Bilous, PhD; Pavlo Krysenko, PhD; and Lead Engineer Abdul Bektimirov.
For its contribution to the advancement of science, the Institute was awarded a Diploma of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
