Department of the ontological systems and applied algebraic combinatorics

«An immense, an ever-increasing wealth of knowledge is scattered about the world today, a wealth of knowledge and suggestion that – systematically ordered and generally disseminated – would probably give this giant vision and direction and suffice to solve all the mighty difficulties of our age, but the knowledge is still dispersed, unorganized, impotent in the face of adventurous violence and mass excitement»

 MAIN DIRECTIONS OF SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES:

Development of theoretical, methodological and technological bases for creation and use of complex network-centric transdisciplinary ontological systems.

Study of dynamical systems defined by algebraic graphs over fields and rings and oriented graphs of large girth.

Creation of information technologies as to ontological modelling and information resources protection on the basis of the dynamical systems theory and oriented graphs of large girth.

Design of knowledge-oriented information-analytical systems of decision-making processes support in various fields of human activities on the basis of ontological management of the distributed network processes.

MAIN RESULTS

Fundamental

The methodological background for network-centric transdisciplinary knowledge bases creation as the reflection of unstructured geospatial information large amounts hyperproperties was developed.

New methods of information transdisciplinary knowledge networks large amounts protection as ordered heterogeneous information environments, based on the specific properties of extremal graphs unlimited families determined by non-linear algebraic equations systems were created.

The restoring method of dynamic system state – the transmitter of information due to the support systems synthesis, which dimension is limited by the unknown coordinate’s vector dimension was developed.

The modern methods of spatial and attribute information integration based on taxonomies conversion, the selection task ontology and ontological models typification based on typeless λ-expressions usage were designed.

Applied

The modern IT technology TODOS, implemented information resources transdisciplinary integration network-centric procedures, with interdisciplinary relationships significant number, and based on various information technologies and standards usage was created;

Remedies of virtual organizations and space communications systems against noise, including new LDPC codes, new cryptographic algorithms of symmetric and asymmetric encoding: with public keys, fast streaming encryption algorithms, new key exchange protocols were designed;

The new cryptosystems on many variables, defined by complex continuous and discrete dynamical systems were constructed;

The ontological interfaces formation facilities with network information systems and knowledge bases were developed.
