Achievements of the Institute

2014 The ontology of rational choice problem was created. On the basis of its usage the technology of knowledge extraction during semantic content analysis of distributed in the network data base was developed. On the basis of knowledge extraction, tools of adaptive generation of thematic categories were developed. These tools provide for dynamic formation of web-semantic interface menu elements for supporting of different forms of interaction with users in distributed environments of the internet portals including group video sessions. Switching technology using virtual channels in the networks with variable size of network address was developed. The technology provides for immediate establishment of virtual connection with various network nodes, multi-address sending of informational request and further switching to the nodes responding on informational request only. The technology is implemented in the form of dynamic library for OS Windows, that can be used for the following systems implementation: searching for information, distributed information store, anonymous information exchange (including secrete voting systems, files exchange, etc.) as well as various services in the networks with variable size network address (Associate Members of NAS of Ukraine  S.A. Methodology of computer modeling design and analysis of multipack hierarchical communication network operation with discrete parameters and flows was developed. With the aim of non-linear and non-steady processes of processing and discrete flows distribution management the following has been offered: mathematic models, methods, algorithms and experimental software complex for solving tasks of network operation current planning  aiming at optimization of using its available resources and mathematic instruments for operating management and prospective development issues addressing. Resource-based view on the modeling and analysis of sustainable technological development was offered. Initial model of sustainable development represented in the form of two-level cooperative game was simplified. Resource game theory model of balanced development on the basis of efficient use of modern technologies relevant to the regions if the country was built for the first time. (S.K. Polumienko)

New conception of cryptographic system from many variables with rotating schedule was created. Examples of such systems were put into effect in Maria Curie Sklodovska in Lublin in association with the Institute of Telecommunications and Global Informational Space of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In particular, it was offered the crypto system safety of which is provided by the difficulty of discrete logarithm calculation in appropriate transformation group. Search for new crypto systems from many variables is motivated by post quantum cryptography theory. (V.A. Ustimenko)

Major environmental and geological risks factors of shale gas exploration and production under conditions of East-Ukrainian and West-Ukrainian oil and gas bearing basins were identified (testing of the USA shale gas commercial production experience).

The peculiarities of formation mechanisms of nano dimensional developments in quartz and zircon as well as in hydroxyapatite of biogenic origin were identified. It was demonstrated that radioactive exposure has significant impact on magnetic (paramagnetic) features of nano formations located in minerals and bio minerals. Particular role of nano dimensional areas heating, that are originated as a result of uranium and thorium alpha-decay, in nano crystalline regions formation in crystal lattice of zircon and other minerals. Dependence of stream flow local erosion on location angle and bottom barrier height was built. The most intensive underwater erosion mode was identified. According to the results of bottom resistance forces simulation modeling, it was discovered that under bottom ridge height that is 1/3 flow depth the most intensive stream bed deformations can be under its location at an 35-40 degree angle towards oncoming flow. Information space monitoring technology of the Black and the Azov Seas waters anthropogenic contamination was developed. INSTITUTE SCIENTISTS AWARDS

Staff member of the Institute of Telecommunications and Global Information Space of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Dr V.V.Radchuk was awarded with State Award of Ukraine in the sphere of science and technics 2013 for his series of scientific works “Using of nature resources of Ukraine under environmental constrains”.

Staff member of the Institute of Telecommunications and Global Information Space of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine M.L.Mirontzova is recommended by the State Award Committee in the sphere of science and technics to be awarded with the President of Ukraine Young Scientists Award 2014 for the work “Numerical modeling of borehole electrical measurements”.

Staff members of the Institute of Telecommunications and Global Information Space of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine K.D.Gulyaev, I.V.Deineka are recommended by the State Award Committee in the sphere of science and technics to be awarded with the State Award of Ukraine in the sphere of science and technics 2014 for the work “Technological, organizational and regulatory principles of new generation telecommunication networks building”.

  2013

Methodology and tools of distributed information resources based on ontologies as natural dynamic system qualitative models were developed. Information and program complex for trans disciplinary ontologies design and composition was developed. Ontological means of distributed information network resources integration were created. Ontology library on natural science subjects within ArcGIS environment was created using the above complex. (Associate Members of NAS of Ukraine S.A.Dovgyi, A.E. Stryzhak).

Big cycle index extreme graphs completed theory was created. In particular, sets of graphs with maximum possible cycle index were built. These results were used for development of new infrastructures of new fast symmetric cryptographic algorithms open key, new exchange protocols of polynomial cryptography key from many variables (V.A. New technology of data transfer within computer networks was theoretically justified and put into effect. This technology is based on the addressing system with EX variable size of network address. Protocol stack, address getting algorithms and frames processing on network nodes were developed. Switch router functions were put into effect. Domain names system and dynamic nodes configuration protocol were built. (Associate Members of NAS of Ukraine S.A.Dovgyi, K.D.Gulyaev, O.G.Lebed).

Technology of free format semi structured information resources semantic management was developed. Network tools and portal solutions for creation, filling and information resources presentation were developed based on the above technology. Mathematic models of Seversiy Donetz River flow technogenic contamination trans boundary migration were developed and put into effect. Based on watershed areas and surface water bodies technogenic contamination assessment, the methodic guideline on ERS materials joint analysis were developed. Development of methodology of waterworks facilities standard and nonstandard emergency scenario identification on the basis of deductive and inductive failure modes and effect analysis of hazardous nature and technogenic factors impact.  Development of method of inductive diagnostic models building for assessment and forecasting of waterworks facilities condition on the  basis of generalization, sets of adequate situational diagnostic models (Associate Members of NAS of Ukraine A.N.Trophimchuk, D.V.Stephanishin).

2012

The Institute developed theoretical foundations and accomplished the program of realization of an addressing system with a resizable network address that allows to increase the speed of data transmission and to reduce loading on the telecommunications network hardware. An algorithm was first developed for determination of aerodynamic process condition and of dominant stable regime of separation flow when modeling it with the use of the discrete singularity method. (Corr. member of NAS of Ukraine S. O. Dovgy, D. I. Cherniy).

Methods were developed for designing and realization of access to the information resources on the basis of their semantic features as well as methods for generation of a thematically-oriented ontological interface.

A technology was created for integration of information systems based on using ontological interface facilities. (Corr. member of NAS of Ukraine S. O. Dovgy, O. E. Stryzhak).

A method was developed for logical-and-probabilistic forecasting hypothetic scenarios of natural and technogenic accidents and emergency situations as presumptive events using Bayesian transformation of statistical probabilities of elementary events. The Institute developed and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the National indicators system of information society development in Ukraine. New symmetric and asymmetric encryption algorithms were created and new key-exchange protocols were formalized. (V. O. Ustymenko).

A pattern of a three-level information system with a mobile computer workstation and a data storage for management of documents with electronic media of biometric information together with identification data of the document owner was first developed in Ukraine in accordance with the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). A thematically-oriented software technological complex was developed for processing space images of water areas. A mechanism was proposed for joint use of descriptive approach to image algebra and to operations with the use of “criterion tree” algebra for generation of a parameter vector of quantitative and qualitative characteristics. It was found out that chain-type naturally-occurring technogenic and anthropogenic changes in the environment are prevailing due to entry of chemical contaminants in the process of extraction and processing of mineral raw materials, operation of transportation and water management systems. A method was developed for study of radiation defects in quartz patterns which are used for reconstruction of radiation-absorbed doses with the aid of electron paramagnetic resonance. The effect of different stability of radiation defects was first proposed for use in order to increase the reliability of results of retrospective dosimetry of teeth enamel. (V. V. Radchuk).
